Highview Capital Promotes Steve Russell to Senior Portfolio Manager

LOS ANGELES, CA – Highview Capital, LLC (“Highview”) today announced the promotion of Steve Russell, a founding member of the Highview team, to Senior Portfolio Manager. Steve will be responsible for leading the fund’s investment activities, overseeing portfolio company strategy and operations, and directing firm culture and talent development. Highview’s previous Senior Portfolio Manager, Ryan McCarthy, resigned to explore other opportunities, and will continue to serve as an advisor to the Highview team.

Since helping launch Highview in 2016, Steve has been an instrumental member of the firm. He has consistently leveraged his expertise, investment judgment and relationship network to execute on complex deals that have led to successful investments. Prior to joining Highview, Steve was a Director at Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based private equity fund, and previously held roles with Chilton Investment Company and J.P Morgan. Steve currently serves on the Boards of American Plastics, Firstlight Media and GS Foods, and previously served on the Board of Fleet Complete, LGS Innovations, Quickplay and America SCORES Chicago. Steve holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
